Good afternoon! So, this week we are speaking about being a military spouse. The military life is nothing new to me. My father, stepmother, sister, and grandfather served in the military. It is an honor and huge responsibility to serve our country. (Thank you to all service members.) Its different having a parent deploy or go to basic training, you miss them but also you are used to it. My husband left September 8th for basic training and I have been holding it down. Running my business, bartending, taking care of Aiden, up keeping the house, and handling the bills. It is tiring and I miss my best friend. I do not like thinking about how he will miss Aiden’s first birthday, Tyreek’s tenth, and the holiday season. Of-course I will take tons of photos and write letters, so he does not miss out on too much, but we all know it is not the same. I cannot wait for him to come home. This is an exciting journey for our family and looking forward to the different friends we will gain from this experience.
